TMGT301 Cross Cultural Management

This unit introduces students to the cultural considerations associated with managing businesses that transact across borders, whether this is through their diverse staff base, customer base or the range of stakeholders they interact with. The unit aims at providing a contextual framework regarding how cultures differ in their practices and social norms and how this affects the conduct of business. Topics include the meaning and role of culture, cultural norms and how groups and individuals interact with these norms.
