PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Bachelor of Sustainable Finance and FinTech is an interdisciplinary degree that integrates modern financial technology with sustainable finance principles, ESG frameworks, and digital financial innovation.
The program equips students with the capabilities to analyse financial markets, leverage financial technologies, and design responsible financial solutions aligned with global sustainability goals.Graduates will be prepared to navigate the rapid evolution of digital finance, including payments, digital assets, RegTech, and green financial products, while applying technology-enabled tools to support ethical investment, risk management, and sustainable organisational growth

COURSE STRUCTURE
All units are weighted at six credit points. Completing 144 credit points, equal to 24 units, is required to qualify for the Bachelor of Sustainable Finance and FinTech award.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available and will be assessed in accordance with IMC’s RPL policy and procedure. Please refer to the Application for Recognition of Prior Learning and the RPL policy and procedure for further details.
Assessment design across this course follows IMC’s Assessment Policy and is based on principles of constructive alignment, academic integrity, transparency and progressive development of knowledge and skills. Student will complete quizzes to confirm core conceptual understanding, individual and group assessments to analyze datasets and evaluate sustainable finance and FinTech scenarios, and examinations to demonstrate integrated knowledge and higher-order reasoning. In units with stronger technical application, assessment includes supervised practical tasks and project work using real or realistic data and industry-standard tools, ensuring students can implement and evaluate analytics-supported financial solutions.
Academic integrity is reinforced through transparent assessment design and the systematic use of Turnitin for written submissions. At the same time, the capstone project provides a culminating, project-based assessment that demonstrates work-ready capability and prepares students for ongoing professional learning in a rapidly evolving finance and regulation landscape.
