 Unit Overview:
This unit enables students to develop the knowledge and skills required to prepare and use management accounting information for purposes such as cost-volume-profit analysis, product and process costing, cost management budgeting and planning, and performance management. Both conceptual and technical knowledge, and skills of managerial accounting are explored and further applied in business decision making processes. Completion of this unit will enable students to understand the concepts of management accounting by studying the importance of accurate and timely information for an improved decision making process within an organisation.
