| This is a foundation Unit in dealing with civil wrongs. The Unit deals with the nature of tortious liability in general and examines specific torts with a focus on trespass to the person, goods and land; detinue and conversion; the action on the case for willful injuries; negligence; nuisance; statutory workers compensation and motor vehicle accident schemes. The Unit also includes a detailed study of the Law of Negligence under the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW), and its relationship to the common law. | |
