From 5th to 7th April 2009, the 1st UNE-TOP International Symposium on Corporate Governance was held at Australian Technology Park. The participants included scholars from UNE and other leading Australian universities, as well as the leading scholars from the universities of Europe, the US and China, like Prof Hans Pichler of Vienna University of Economics and Business, Prof Mark Weaver of Louisiana State University and Prof Jianping Ship, Vice President of the China Central University of Finance and Economics.
