1. What is the “Refer Friends to IMC” Promotion?
The “Refer Friends to IMC” Promotion is an exciting new referral program for you, our IMCers (herein “Referrers”), to share your study experiences first hand with your family, friends and professional networks (herein “Referrals”). At IMC, we are always looking for positive ways to build a global community of students and what better way to welcome your friends to join us for Term3 2021.
This promotion allows you, Referrers, to refer your friends, Referrals and you will both receive credit that will be counted off towards your tuition fees or in the case of particular cases of students, you will receive an e-gift card. As a Referrer, you will be eligible to receive a “Credit Reward” for referring someone to IMC, and as a Referral, you will be eligible to claim a “Credit Discount” toward your studies at IMC.
The promotion is available and valid for referrals until the end of 19 Nov 2021 for Hobart campus and 3 Dec 2021 for Sydney campus.
The Referral must mention your name and details at the time of enrolling or expressing an interest in a course at IMC through the relevant referral form.
This offer is valid for new applications only. It does not apply to applications that are cancelled or resubmitted. That is, you are not eligible for a student who has already enrolled at IMC or has expressed interest in a course at IMC.
In the case of multiple referrals for the same candidate, the first referral submitted through the online form will be qualified to benefit from this promotion.
To be eligible for the promotion, the Referrer must introduce a Referral to IMC, and that Referral must apply and accept an offer before 19 Nov 2021 for Hobart campus and 3 Dec 2021 for Sydney campus to study a course that has been achieved through an application made with IMC. The student is considered to have accepted the offer when they have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and made the initial course payment. The Referral must then complete the initial requirement of their studies as set out below in section 2 of this promotion including payment in full and passing of relevant census dates prior to any “Credit Reward” or “Credit Discount” being applicable.
2. What are the Credit Rewards and Credit Discounts on offer?
There are two types of promotions on offer set out below depending on whether you are a Referrer or Referral.
If you are a Referrer, you will be eligible to receive a “Credit Reward” if you successfully refer someone to IMC. As a Referral, you will be eligible to claim a “Credit Discount” toward your studies at IMC. This is a credit which is provided as a tuition fee discount to the Referrer and Referal’s tuition fees that are payable for their studies.
The promotion only applies to enrolments in the courses referred to below and does not apply to any other enrolment.
Rewards 1
When you, Referrer, refer a NEW friend, Referral, to enrol in at least four (4) full fee payment units with us in an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree as set out below, you will receive a $300 AUD “Credit Reward” and your friend will receive a“Credit Discount” up to AUD $500. The Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees include:
The Referral will receive a “Credit Discount” up to $AUD $500 depending on how many units of study the Referral enrols in. The Credit Discount will be as follows:
a) $500 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in four (4) full paying units; or
b) $375 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in three (3) full paying units; or
c) $250 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in two (2) full paying units; or
d) $125 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in one (1) full paying unit.
The Referral must have passed the relevant census date and must have fully settled their fees for the first term / semester before both the Referrer and Referral receive their “Credit Reward” or “Credit Discount” respectively. This credit will be automatically deducted from the Referrer’s tuition fees payable in the subsequent term / semester and will be reduced from the tuition fees otherwise payable by the Referral for their studies at IMC.
Rewards 2
When you, Referrer, refer a NEW friend, Referral, to enrol in at least four (4) full fee payment units with us in Postgraduate Degree (FinTech Course), you will receive a $300 AUD “Credit Reward” and your friend will receive a “Credit Discount” up to $2000 AUD toward the Postgraduate Degree (FinTech Course). The Postgraduate Degrees include:
The Referral will receive a "Credit Discount" up to $2000 AUD depending on how many units of study the Referral enrols in. The "Credit Discount" will be as follows:
a) $2,000 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in eight (8) full paying units; or
b) $1750Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in seven (7) full paying units; or
c) $1,500 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in six (6) full paying units;
d) $1,250 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in five (5) full paying units;
e) $1,000 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in four (4) full paying units; or
g) $500 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in two (2) full paying units; or
h) $250 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in one (1) full paying unit.
To receive the “Credit Reward” and “Credit Discount”, the Referral must have passed the relevant census date and must have fully settled their fees with IMC before both the Referrer and Referral receive their “Credit Reward” or “Credit Discount” respectively. This credit will be automatically deducted from the Referrer’s tuition fees payable in the subsequent term / semester and will be reduced from the tuition fees otherwise payable by the Referral for their studies at IMC.
In addition, if you, Referrer, also enrol successfully in a Postgraduate Degree (FinTech Course) together with your Referral, you will receive $2000 AUD “Credit Discount” on top of your $300 AUD “Credit Reward”.

When you, Referrer, refer a NEW friend, Referral, to enrol in at least four (4) full fee payment units with us in a Graduate Certificate or Gradute Diploma Degree as set out below, you will receive a $300 AUD “Credit Reward” and your friend will receive a “Credit Discount” up to $1,000 AUD. The Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma Degrees include:
The Referral will receive a “Credit Discount” up to $AUD $1,000 depending on how many units of study the Referral enrols in. The Credit Discount will be as follows:
a) $1,000 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in four (4) full paying units; or
b) $750 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in three (3) full paying units; or
c) $500 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in two (2) full paying units; or
d) $250 Credit Discount to the Referral if the Referral enrols in one (1) full paying unit.

4. Who is the Referrer and what is applicable Credit Reward?
You, or the "Referrer", must either be a full or part-time confirmed IMC student, current IMC student, or Enrolled into a Micro Credential Course.
Referrers can be from either of the Sydney and Hobart Campuses of IMC.
A student being introduced to IMC may nominate only one Referrer.
The Referrer must be a natural person.
The Referrer cannot be from any organisation or business that receives any Local, State or Commonwealth Government funding for training.
In the interests of full disclosure, the person being introduced to IMC will be advised that their Referrer will receive a “Credit Reward” from IMC for having introduced that person to IMC.
The “Credit Reward” and/or “Credit Discount” cannot be substituted for cash or applied towards payment of any other matter or e-gift card other than as set out in these terms and conditions and summarised in the table below.
5. I’m an IMC alumni, can I still participate as the Referrer? How do I receive the reward?
Absolutely! Please keep your Student ID number handy with you when you fill out the form. If you’re having issues remembering your Student ID, please contact us directly at recruitment@imc.edu.au. If your referral has been successful, you will receive the a “Credit Reward” by way of a Coles e-gift card only. You will not receive a credit toward credit of tuition fees as you are no longer at IMC.
An IMC Alumni will receive any “Credit Reward” that they are entitled to as set out in these terms and conditions in the form of an e-Gift voucher from Coles to the value of the “Credit Reward” as set out in these terms and conditions.
The e-Gift voucher will be emailed to the Referrer using their email address on file. It is the Referrer’s responsibility to ensure we have their current email address for the delivery of the e-Gift voucher.
6. I’m not currently a student nor an alumni of IMC, how can I participate?

7. Is this Referral Campaign valid to IMC (Hobart Campus)?
The “Refer Friends to IMC” Promotion is valid to Referrers including IMC Current Students & Alumni Students from both Sydney and Hobart Campus; however the Referrals must be enrolled in the degree courses held at IMC Sydney Campus only in order to receive your “Credit Reward”.
For those Referrers who are enrolled in FinTech Micro Credentials, your Referrals must be enrolled in the degree courses held at IMC Sydney Campus only in order to receive your reward.
8. Who is the Referral?
Referral is who the Referrer wishes to nominate. The Referral must be a NEW student, who has not previously studied with IMC or previously known to IMC. The Referral must be applying for an degree at IMC (Sydney Campus only) and the Referral must not be applying to study at the Hobart Campus.
9. How do I refer a friend?

10. When is this program valid until?
The Referral Plan will be for Term 3 2021. See Key Dates here. The cutoff date for this promotion is19 Nov 2021 for Hobart campus and 3 Dec 2021 for Sydney campus.
11. What conditions must my friend/s and I meet for us to earn the reward?
The Referral must meet all admission criteria at IMC to be eligible for this promotion. IMC reserve the right to refuse admission of any student for any reason in its sole discretion. For further information, please contact recruitment@imc.edu.au.
12. How will I receive my "Credit Reward"?
Referrers (IMCers)
For Referrers, you will generally receive your “Credit Reward” as credit counted off the tuition fees. This credit will be automatically deducted from the Referrer’s tuition fees payable in the subsequent term / semester of their studies and will be reduced from the tuition fees otherwise payable by the Referral for their studies at IMC.
For final semester students, current FinTech students or IMC alumni students, you will generally receive your “Credit Reward” as a Coles e-gift card to the value of the “Credit Reward” as set out in these terms and conditions. You will not receive a credit toward credit of tuition fees as you are no longer at IMC. See table below for summary of Referrer and applicable Credit Reward.
The e-Gift voucher will be emailed to the Referrer using their email address on file. It is the Referrer’s responsibility to ensure we have their current email address for the delivery of the e-Gift voucher.
13. Is there a limit to the number of people I can refer? Is there a limit to the number of rewards I can earn?
Referrers (IMCers)
You can refer to as many people as you like! The more successful referrals you have, the more you will be rewarded.
Referrals
Each referral could only be referred by one referrer. If multiple referrers exist, IMC will deem the first referrer as eligible and contact the referral to confirm it as soon as they receive a referral form in order to avoid the conflicts.
14. How do I track the referral status?
As we anticipate a high influx of referrals through our registration form, you will receive a copy of your registration when you complete the form. Please keep this in a safe place.

16. Other Rights of IMC
IMC, at its discretion, can pause, terminate, and re-start this promotional initiative at any time and without notice.
IMC reserves the right to change the type and value of the “Credit Reward” or “Credit Discount” at any time without notice.
IMC reserves the right to change any part of the eligibility criteria without notice.
IMC reserves the right to review, amend or vary the terms and conditions of this promotion at its discretion and without notice.
